剧情基于种族矛盾和个人感情的冲突，高度不小，就是情节及其乏善可陈，比我国同期的肥皂剧可看性还颇为不如。全篇亮点只CB一个，其时她真是青春焕发，并且有着比自身年龄(当时25岁)更多的成熟感，在这么个各方面平平的剧集中颇出现了几次感情细腻的表达，以后个人生涯的多次神级表演在此已初现端倪。
